The Coroner of Allegheny County maintained a census of arrivals at the county morgue.
This Index has over 31,075 entries from the years 1900 through 1953.

South Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Indexed Cemetery Records
These are alphabetical lists of the headstones recorded and indexed by Helen L. Nilles Owens (1932-2019) from 1970-2011 that have been donated for public use. Some entries have been added to FindAGrave. Helen made notes in these indexes to expect mistakes. She copied and proofread all of the names and dates from the headstones herself. Many of them were worn and broken so it was sometimes difficult to discern certain letters and numbers, but she made the best effort to be as accurate as possible.
Allegheny County Veterans Burial Records Index
Records in this collection document burial applications and arrangements for honorably discharged military veterans and their widows who resided in Allegheny County, PA. The records consist of 114 bound volumes ranging from 1885 until 1995.
