Jennie Benford has been affiliated with The Homewood Cemetery, in one capacity or other, for over 25 years. She served as the University Archivist for Carnegie Mellon University for 10 years and was recently the History Researcher for the 125th Anniversary of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.  She is a founding member of Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails (LUPEC), a guerilla women’s history action collective that teaches women’s history via reintroduction of forgotten vintage cocktails. Starting in March, Jennie will join the Family & Local History Department at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
