Conducting an oral history interview combines art (such as asking the right questions) and science (to ensure you get the recording right the first time). Learn how to interview and record family members' stories in their own words. This session will share tips for preparing for and conducting interviews, as well as some recommendations for easy-to-use recording equipment. Participants will also learn about the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Yinzstory kit, which offers a complete oral history recording setup. This program is FREE and open to the public.
