Interested in digitizing your family photos, but not sure where to start? Join us to learn the basics, and best practices, of creating digital copies of your family mementos. This session is intended for beginners and will explain the process of digitization, what different file types mean, what works best for your needs, and some options for storing your digitized materials.
The REcollection Studio is the Library’s DIY digitization lab. Patrons can use the studio to digitize photographs, documents, slides, books (and anything else that can be laid flat), as well as audio cassettes and VHS cassettes. There are walk-in hours for the studio, but appointments are recommended to ensure patrons have enough time to finish their projects.
Registration is required due to limited space in the studio.
Please call 412-622-3154 to register.
