Demystifying Dual Citizenship: The Records and The Process: Of Italian descent and think you may qualify for dual citizenship? This how-to aims to break down the process and give you the steps you need to have you on your way to your red passport in no time. We’ll discuss eligibility verification, the records needed, and what to expect at your Consulate appointment.
Demystifying Dual Citizenship: Naturalization Records and Western PA Record Sources: Building on the first lecture, attendees will learn some of the ins and outs of naturalization laws and records. Specifically discussed will be common dual citizenship queries – such as when wives and minor children automatically become US citizens when their husband/father naturalized. Additionally, we’ll discuss idiosyncrasies in records in Western PA, and the various record repositories you’ll need to engage with for the records necessary for the citizenship process.
