Join genealogy societies and libraries from Western Pennsylvania for help with your research and information about their collections. Workshops will help beginners and experts alike with speakers discussing a variety of research topics.

Brick Wall Help Sessions

We are offering a limited number of individual help session to help you break through your genealogical brick wall. These sessions must be reserved in advance so researchers understand your questions and what you are trying to solve.  These sessions are first-come, first-serve.  Please visit Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s web site to register.

Parking is available in the garage behind the Library and Carnegie Museums for $10 (enter at the intersection of Forbes Avenue & South Craig Street. Street parking around the library is free on Sundays.
