This index was transcribed from microfilm copies of the original handwritten senses schedules, which are especially difficult to read. Writing skills and styles differ from those in use today. Ink, the kind of paper used, and the microfilming technique affected legibility. This index lists last name, first name, county in Pennsylvania, and page number. Good, clean copy.
