Published in 1868. Taken from the most authentic Records and Dedicated to the Irish Brigade by the Abbé MacGeoghegan, with a continuation from the Treaty of Limerick to the present time by John Mitchell. The History of Ireland Ancient and Modern was written by Abbé James MacGeoghegan and was originally written in French and published in three volumes between 1758 and 1763 as Histoire de l’Irlande Ancienne et Moderne. The first two volumes of the history were first published in Paris and the last in Amsterdam. These two volumes total 1,270 pages. Hardbound; no dust jacket Good condition considering their age. Non-circulating library edition. Hardly used.
