Clemens started writing for the Pittsburgh Leader in 1879 and was the editor of Genealogy Magazine. This interesting compilation contains the marriage records of many of the early colonists of New England, Long Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and the Carolinas. Its 12,000 recorded marriages constitute a directory of the earliest residents in America. Hardcover, 246 pages. Condition: Good, but missing title page.
