This publication lists over 14,000 names from marriage returns performed by ministers, aldermen, and justices of the peace in Pittsburgh from 1870-1875. Alphabetical by groom with an index to brides.

Lists 3,500 students enrolled in the Civil War Soldiers' Orphan Schools of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Crawford, Fayette, Mercer and Westmoreland counties in 1876.

The original church was located in Temperanceville (now West End) about 1864. The cemetery property was purchased in 1873. The original building was sold to Jerusalem Baptist Church and a new church was built on Chartiers Ave., Elliott and is known as the West End United Church of Christ. Softbound. 53 pgs.
